Dell Xps M1210 Camera Driver Windows 7 Download
Hi,
I have a Dell XPS L702X laptop with integrated webcam, and I have a webcam software failure that is recurring. About 3 weeks ago, I was using Skype, and all of a sudden, Skype could no longer 'find my webcam.' I confirmed this to be the case by opening Skype>Tools>Options>Video settings, which states 'Skype couldn't find a webcam.' I reconfirmed there was a software failure by opening Dell Webcam Central which showed a message stating 'No Supported Webcam.' I used Dell's Troubleshooter, which instructed me to un-install Dell Webcam Central and re-install it. After re-installing, the webcam worked perfectly for about 1-2 weeks (both Dell Webcam Central worked and Skype webcam worked), but it has failed again. I turned on Skype today, and the same problem is happening. Skype and Dell Webcam Central cannot find a webcam. I'm afraid to un-install and re-install Dell Webcam Central software again, because Dell limits owners to only 3 installations. I believe that my video drivers are up to date. Should I give up on the integrated webcam and purchase an external webcam? Is there any particular external webcam that you recommend? Thanks so much for your time and expertise! My system: Win 7 Home Premium, SP1, 64-bit Comments are closed.
